West Iredell Fire was alerted at 06:44 AM of a tractor trailer accident where the truck had left I-40 and landed in the 200-BLK of Goble Rd , first arriving unit confirmed the site of the accident and advised that there was an active fuel spill at that time. NCSHP which was already on scene contacted the NCDOT and advised them of same and started the wrecker service to the scene the fuel spill was controlled and once the wrecker service arrived they took control of the scene and advised us the road would be open back up around 10 am.
