The I-40 Bermuda triangle struck again yesterday . West Iredell, Catawba , Iredell Rescue , Iredell EMS and Med Center Air 3 responded to a vehicle accident with an entrapment. A team effort resulted in an 2 Hour extrication including Ultimate Towing to lift the trailer to finalize freeing the patient. The patient was flown to Atrium Trauma Center. The patient was alert and talking with family members last night.

A second accident occurred just inside Catawba County requiring an additional extrication of patients and two additional helicopters as the first incident was being worked. This required all lanes of I-40 to be closed for sometime. Thank you for your patience!!
